HISTORY

Taking Pictures, Changing Lives was founded in 2009 by UK photographer Adam Dickens.

When we first started, our business model was very different. We flew Adam, founder of Taking Pictures, Changing Lives, across the world to photograph the work of small charities. Our heart to help these charities Change Lives is the same, but our model has changed. By investing in growing a global team of photographers we can support charities with a photographer from their own country.

We’ve been Taking Pictures and Changing Lives for 15 years, and are privileged to have seen so many people's lives changed. We work with charities who support some of the most under-represented communities on earth, and help those charities to effectively fundraise, campaign and raise awareness.

Taking Pictures, Changing Lives have made over 100 visits to charity projects and partners on 4 continents, partnered with 40 charities working in 20 countries and gifted over 80,000 photos to those charities.
