What they do

Zamcog’s mission is to help the street kids and orphaned children in Zambia.

Zamcog supports the Shitima School, which helps Zambia's most impoverished and at-risk children. The Shitima School began as a one-room classroom with only 8 students in the outskirts of Kabwe, Zambia.

In the past 10 years, it has been transformed into a fully functioning boarding and day school for over 446 pupils, with two separate schools, both of which boast bright and engaged students of all ages.

What they say

Adam’s photos are wonderful and are an enormous asset to ZAMCOG. They capture the indomitable spirit of the children, their optimism and sense of fun but, at the same time, reminding us about the harsh reality of life on the streets which many of the children faced before arriving at the Robert Shitima Project.
